Big Bea and I had brunch at my second favorite diner in the Bronx. It's called M & G. It's on Arthur Ave right off of 187st. We sat at the counter today. It's very hard to get a table here. The diner sits 25 people tops. The food is awesome. I had a bacon, egg & cheese on toast and Becky had the french toast. Today the diner was full of Fordham University students and had a sprinkling of regulars. The volume here is turned up, I guess it's because everyone is so close together. The meal with Becky made my Saturday all the better.

Well, I started my blog Sunday, June 24, 2007 (Here is my first post). I decided to start a blog after reading a few good ones. Like this one and this one. What ever to do write about? I write about what I do best....being a Mother. When I started blogging there was no Little Al and I had been a mother for six years. Everyday I learn more from being a mother then any other title that I have ever been given. I enjoy being a mother and sometimes I think I need a cape....lol....I am very proud of my children and I am going to support in every way possible.
What seems to go together with being a mom are hobbies. I love photograph and I try to take at least one picture everyday. My blog to a great place to saw my art. My other hobbies are: crochet, cooking and anything challenging. I hope to start a crochet/crafts circle with my friends. That will be interesting to blog.
I hope my blog makes a difference in some one's life. It doesn't have to be a big difference, a quick read, a funny story, yummy pictures of food or inspiration.
PS: I am a big Facebooker....It's like my mini blog...here it is.

Yes and it was good! After my workout today, I stopped by Sake II Sushi & Hibachi Japanese Restaurant on 187th St and Beaumont Ave. I enjoyed myself. I ordered the Tastu Special Bento Combination Box. The bento box had a California Roll, Shumai, Salmon Teriyaki, Chicken Teriyaki and White Rice. Yummy! There are located in a strange spot... right now to a Chinese Take Out. They opened last month and every time I pass by they have no customers. I fear that the recession is going to force them to close their doors......So if you are in The Bronx, head over to Saki II and grab a California Roll.

Lookie Lookie I joined:I joined Planet Fitness just about three works ago. I have successfully gone to the gym four times since I have join. This is a great kick off to fitness. I really love going. It's lone time that I totally need and I am being productive at the same time. There is only one down fall.... there is a Starbucks half a block away. Hmmmmmm......Tall White Chocolate Mocha my favorite. I have to learn to walk straight to the bus stop and not away from the bus stop. That's going to be easy because I will be going to this location only until the location closer to me opens. The catch at that location is there is a Dunkin' Donuts across the street....evil! I will have the man power not to cross the street. Coffee is my down fall..... maybe not.

I've been sick for a few days and today I still wasn't feeling well but my kids always make me feel better. Becky ran up to me and squeezed me tight when she saw me between extended day and after school. (You know, she's an artist in the Theater Arts After School program) Her hug was like coffee. Little Al finally looked at me when I called her name. (I've only said her name a million times in the last 15 months and not even a glance) Big Al spontaneously said "McDonald's YAY!" & raised the roof when we drove in that direction. (Good thing we were getting Mc Donald's this time.) My kiddies are the best.
Today's picture is the local florist window. It's so cold in NYC right now the penguins moved here.
